Zájezdy   Řecko, Rhodos, Pefkos (Pefki) Lindos Princess

Location is very good at the shore of the sea. Area is big and green and well managed, comfortable for evening promenades. Room: big enough, about 20 m2, with a huge balcony, about 12 m2. Plus WC/shower. Everything is clean and works properly. Air conditioning is a little bit noisy but you will quickly get used to this. Mutual spaces as lobby, main bar, etc. are impressive, decorated with natural marble and mosaics. Beach is relatively wide, approx. 500m, and obtains about 400 sun umbrellas and 800 plastic beds. Beach contains sand, small pebbles and bigger stones about 10m from the waterfront. The entrance into the sea is smooth. The sea is clean and warm, about 29 C°. The waves are not big. The only slightly bothering thing is “watersports” consuming about the 50 m of the beach and making some noise, smell and waves. Food. Main restaurant is quite good with variety of quality stuff. More modest breakfast and lunch and generous dinner. Restaurant at the beach is also comfortable. Beverages are the weak point – a frequent finding in the Southern Europe hotels. Chemical drinks from the paper packs, including white, rose and red wines. Spirits are of local provenience. Coffee is natural but milk is from powder, low cost However, the gin/tonic cocktail and the variety of Baileys liqueur were quite drinkable. You can use the bottled water from the local shops or bottled drinks like wine or spirits (however they are more expensive in Greece than in our part of Europe). Personnel is friendly and active. Our special regards to Christos, Captain in the main restaurant and to Dalina, waitress in the same place. Entertainment – we did not use it, but for the children it is an interesting thing. For adults we can recommend a visit to the capital city of the island also called Rhodos with its beautiful old town fortress, narrow streets, Magisters palace containing beside other ancient Roman mosaics, old Johanite hospital, etc. The nearby city of Lindos is also charming but very hot, so we advise to visit it in the afternoon and to take a taxi on the way back. Summary: a comfortable hotel for a decent money (90 of 100 points). We plan to use Hsystem hotels in the future.
